Shara Cyrus
Shara Cyrus is a forensic therapist for Mid-Atlantic Psychological Services. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Mrs. Cyrus conducts psychotherapy and mental health assessments, as well as providing regular therapy for forensic clients. Mrs. Cyrus has varied experience and interests include trauma informed care, motivational interviewing and grief and loss and its impact on one’s daily functioning.

She utilizes cognitive-behavioral techniques and motivational interviewing to help set therapeutic goals to aid in positive progress. Mrs. Cyrus utilizes a collaborative approach to understand, integrate, and explore educational, social-emotional, cognitive, and adaptive strengths and weaknesses to support each client in a holistic manner, and to inform recommendations for every aspect of day-to-day life.
